Dietary Advice
Achieving optimum health and well-being is not difficult. In fact it is so simple and logical, that most of us, in our desperation, overlook it and strive to look for other ‘more complicated’ solutions. When one method does not work, we look for the next and so we continue, but never truly heal ourselves. We are stuck in a vicious cycle.
Animals living in the wild seem to have no problem. They do not seem to develop strange ‘allergies’, they do not count calories, or measure the proportions of protein, carbohydrates and fats in the foods they eat, and most importantly, they do not get diseased. This is because (unlike the ‘highly intelligent’ human!) they live their lives according to Nature’s Laws.
Since 1900, there has been a major shift from natural healthcare in the form of herbs and natural remedies to unnatural and harmful drugs. At the same time we see the introduction of processed, chemically sprayed foods, chlorinated and fluorinated water and polluted air. Coupled with this, life has ‘speeded up’ and we are continually in a stressed state.
All this has made our bodies very toxic. In its attempt to deal with this toxic overload, the body produces mucus. As we continue to add to the toxic overload, more and more mucus is produced, until eventually we clog up our cells, tissues and organs (including our brain!). Eventually our entire body becomes clogged up and ‘constipated’ so that we are unable to properly eliminate the toxins through the usual routes (liver, large intestine, kidney).
The body, in desperation, tries to eliminate some of the toxic overload through the skin, lungs, joints, ears, nose, throat and reproductory organs producing symptoms such as eczema, psoriasis, asthma, pneumonia, arthritis, infertility, colds, flu, and tonsillitis and so on. When we ‘treat’ these symptoms with toxic drugs we act only to suppress the body’s attempts to eliminate the toxins. Now the toxins will be pushed even deeper into the body and stored, eventually creating more serious degenerative disease. Every sick person has a toxic, mucus-clogged system.
“Man does not die, he kills himself.” (Seneca)
So what can we do to remove the toxins and mucus, unclog our bodies and achieve optimum health and well-being?
Well here at Nature’s Nutrition, we obey the Laws of Nature (just like all our wild animals friends): Good air, pure water, adequate sleep, external and internal cleanliness, wholesome living foods, regular exercise, sunshine, emotional equilibrium, rest and relaxation.
In addition to practising these Laws of Nature, we need to unclog and clean up our body. This requires four steps:
- Step 1: Clean up your diet. Stop putting lifeless, dead foods which cause mucus, toxins, overacidity and congestion into your mouth. Ensure your food is fresh, live, unprocessed and nutrient-rich. Avoid (or at least reduce) mucus forming foods such as meat, dairy, grains, refined and processed foods, coffee, tea alcohol, sugar and salt.
- Step 2: Supply the body with all the essential nutrients, enzymes and life-force. Eat plenty of fresh, uncooked fruits and vegetables, some cooked (preferably steamed) vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouts such as alfalfa and mung beans.
- Step 3: At this stage, you might also use superfoods and other good quality supplements to help replenish your body’s nutrient levels. Remember, it is difficult to successfully complete this third step until the first step of ‘unclogging’ the body has been achieved. Until we start to remove the excess toxins and mucus clogging up our body, we will not be able to effectively absorb and use the required nutrients.
- Step 4: Remember, the primary cause of disease is due to the detrimental effect our negative emotions have on our body. Negative emotions produce many toxins which tend to be stored deep inside the body. To release these toxins, we need to release and change our negative thoughts and feelings into positive ones. Doing this will increase our energy and vitality. Specific herbal flower remedies, meditation, visualisation and positive affirmations can help you do this.
These steps provide a very simple, natural and logical process which is within the reach of us all. We simply need to put into action nature’s own laws to heal the body, mind and spirit.
“Vitality and beauty are gifts of nature for those who live
according to its laws.”
Leonardo DaVinci
Note: It is important to ensure you take the specific supplements your body needs. Many people take supplements (often of poor quality) ad hoc, and end up clogging up their systems even more!
For further advice and a personal dietary and supplement programme which meets your specific needs, we recommend our Health Status Test. This simple test enables us to ascertain:

- Anything overwhelming the body such as toxic metals, chemicals, bacteria, fungus, parasites, electromagnetic stress, geopathic stress
- Areas of weakness (organs, systems)
- Emotional stress overwhelming the body.
