DIPLOMA COURSE

The world is realising more and more the very important role that diet plays in achieving and maintaining optimum health. Our one year Diploma Course follows a holistic, natural approach to the study of nutrition, with an emphasis on using organic, enzyme-rich, live foods for healing. Rather than teaching topics as separate entities, we aim to integrate anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, naturopathy, kinesiology and practice management within the context of nutrition. This unique approach of integration allows for an even greater understanding of how the body works as a synchronistic whole.

We have introduced kinesiology into the Diploma Course to enable you to enhance and fine-tune the advice you give to your clients. Kinesiology enables you to communicate directly with the human body and can help you to detect early warning signs of body dysfunction. The technique can be used to select vitamins and minerals, herbal products, flower remedies, aromatherapy oils, homeopathic remedies, and much more and enables you to accurately detect food/chemical intolerances.

Health is the experience of harmony between the mental, emotional and physical bodies. Various techniques are taught to facilitate the release of not only physical symptoms but also the emotional blockages that are underlying these physical complaints. By treating the body and mind as a unit, we encourage a more complete release of emotional, mental and physical toxins to aid the healing process.

The student learns how to learn through self-motivation and willingness, not only to gain a qualification, but to also gain wisdom.  The course will provide you with the necessary professional and clinical skills to give nutritional advice within your own practice.

Entry requirements: Although some scientific knowledge is useful, our course material will encompass all the science required. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, so formal academic qualifications are not needed to enrol. Enthusiasm, commitment and a desire to learn are the qualities needed to succeed.

Attendance: The course takes place at our venue in Wales. Attendance is one weekend each month for 9 months, starting in March. You will complete the coursework within the year. After this you will have 6 months to complete your case studies. During this time we strongly recommend you attend our Advanced Diploma Course to help you further develop your clinical skills and support you while you set up your own clinic/nutrition business.

Homework/assessment: Homework and reading will be set monthly.  Assessment will be continuous throughout  the year and will represent a percentage of your total mark. The remaining percentage will be assessed by examination which takes place two months after completion of the course.

Qualification Obtained: You will be awarded ‘The Diploma in Natural Nutrition with Kinesiology’.
