ADVANCED DIPLOMA COURSE INFORMATION

The Advanced Diploma Course is available for students who have completed the one year Diploma Course. It is strongly recommended that all graduates complete a second year, as the course will cover more advanced topics in nutrition and naturopathy. Students will be able to share any difficult casework with the group and will be given advice and support while they are developing their nutrition business. You will study functional biochemistry in more depth, enabling you to further extend your kinesiology skills. The Advanced Course will also look at other holistic therapies/techniques which can be used to support detoxification and healing. Students will be kept up to date with the latest research and development in the nutrition field.

Entry Requirements: Students will need to have satisfactorily completed the one year Diploma in Natural Nutrition with Kinesiology.

Attendance: The course takes place at our venue in Wales. Attendance is one Saturday each month for 9 months, starting in March.

Homework/Assessment: Homework and reading will be set monthly. Assessment will be continuous throughout the year and will represent 100% of your total mark. There is no written examination in the second year.

Qualification obtained: You will be awarded ‘The Advanced Diploma in Natural Nutrition with Kinesiology’.

SYLLABUS

Pathology: Looking at some of the more complex disease conditions and their treatment.

Functional Biochemistry: Advanced functional biochemistry topics to help you further develop and fine-tune your kinesiology skills.

Nutrition/Naturopathy: Further topics on food and nutrition to include arthritis, nervous system disorders, cancer and other degenerative diseases, pregnancy, babies and children, ageing, mental illness, eating disorders and sports nutrition. A look at other techniques/therapies that can be used to support a nutritional programme e.g. blood cell analysis, iridology, ayurvedic constitutional types.

Clinical Practice Skills: There will be particular emphasis on helping you further develop your clinical practice skills and students will be able to share difficult case-work with the group. We provide advice and support to help you set up your nutrition business confidently and successfully. Students will complete a research assignment to help them further develop their research skills.

COURSE FEES

The total cost of the Advanced Diploma Course is £990. You will be required to pay a deposit of £198 on application, followed by eight monthly payments of £99, starting in April.
